Article 50 transparency duties have applied since 2 August 2026, for example where a provider's AI system interacts directly with people.
For high-risk uses listed in Annex III, from 2 December 2027, deployers must assign human oversight to people with the necessary competence, training and authority (Article 26(2)).

Continuing Professional Development accreditation: an independent accreditor (such as CPD UK or the CPD Standards Office) assesses the course's structure, objectives, materials and assessment methods. Learners earn CPD points - 2 for the staff course, 4 for the Board briefing - once accreditation is granted.

About two hours, self-paced across six modules. Modules must be completed in full and each quiz passed at 80% before the certificate is issued.
